The Child Taker - Review

Updated: Mar 30, 2023

Recently I started re-reading The Child Taker by Conrad Jones, it's a book I enjoyed the first time round on my kindle but this time I got a physical copy. Not just for pure enjoyment but to see if it sparks some questions I could ask him during Wrexham's Carnival of Words week.

It sure is a book you can read over again and is hard to put down (even a second time round). The book is fast paced but paced well and sure dives deep into thriller territory and has you on the edge of your seat. But like his other books this isn't for the faint hearted as you read further into the book it gets darker and more gruesome. The imagination of Conrad draws his readers into a compelling thriller, it's no surprise this and other books of his are attracting a lot of attention of readers and recommendations.

If you like crime, mystery and thrillers then Conrad Jones is your author. If you haven't read Conrad Jones's books before I recommend you start. Amazon is the best place to find his extensive publications.

Synopsis - The Child Taker
